The 2nd “Yangtze River Cup” Power Battery Integration and Management Technology Challenge
The 2nd “Yangtze River Cup” Power Battery Integration and Management Technology Challenge (the Challenge) aims at tapping and training innovative power battery proposals and professionals with comprehensive competencies. The Challenge is a comprehensive event co-hosted by China Society of Automotive Engineers and the People’s Government of Yibin City. The 1st “Yangtze River Cup” Power Battery Integration and Management Technology Challenge was successfully held in July, 2022 and attracted 41 teams from 38 universities with a total of 200 students, gaining extensive attention from the industry. As an important event of WPBC2023, the awarding ceremony and the display of the awarding proposals of the Challenge will be held during WPBC2023.

INTRODUCTION
It is the trend and need of the times to boost the development of the power battery industry, a shared choice of the world to promote green and low-carbon development and expedite the realization of carbon emissions peak and carbon neutrality. To earnestly implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the “carbon emissions peak and carbon neutrality” strategy of China, to accelerate the development of the new energy vehicle and power battery industry, 2023 World Power Battery Conference has been approved by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China to be held from June 8-11 in Yibin City of Sichuan Province.
